Green Fest Announces ‘REFLEKTO’ Theme for 16th Edition

REFLECTO!

We are opening the 16th edition of Green Fest with the theme REFLECT! – an invitation to stop for a moment, while everything is moving faster and faster.
We are living in a time when we are building more, but seeing less. We are moving faster, but we are stopping less often. Meanwhile, forests are shrinking, rivers are drying up, the sound of birds is falling silent, and bees, butterflies, fireflies and many other forms of life that we barely notice, but without which we cannot live, are disappearing.
Not only is nature being lost, but our ability to be amazed, to care for and to understand that we too are part of this ecosystem is also being lost. Therefore, this year we invite you for an experience of reflection.
For us, biodiversity is the invisible network that is keeping life alive. Like nature, culture and humanity only develop when there is diversity, coexistence and respect for the differences, inseparability and uniqueness that each carries. When one is lost, the other is impoverished.
For five days, Mitrovica will become a space where art, music, film, nature and community meet to imagine a better future. Because, we believe that culture helps us understand, connect people with nature and inspire action.
Change begins when we stop, when we look around and ask ourselves important questions:
