Green Fest 14 concludes successfully
After five days filled with numerous activities, fruitful discussions, and a festive atmosphere, the 14th edition of Green Fest has successfully concluded. This year, the festival was dedicated to the theme “Lum Na,” focusing on the importance of protecting rivers and waters for a sustainable future. Green Fest, which was held in the City Park of Mitrovica, brought together thousands of participants, including representatives of civil society, artists, environmental activists, and citizens interested in environmental issues. Participants had the opportunity to attend panel discussions, creative workshops, a photography exhibition, documentary film screenings, and musical performances, all inspired by the need to protect the environment and raise awareness about river pollution.
The festival director, Lulzim Hoti, expressed his gratitude to the entire organizing team and the participants, emphasizing that this edition marked a significant step forward in efforts to raise public awareness of environmental issues. “We hope that the messages of this festival will continue to positively impact our community even after its conclusion,” he said.
This edition of the festival was mainly supported by the Community Development Fund (CDF) through the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina, the Municipality of Mitrovica, and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo. Green Fest remains an important platform for fostering discussions and actions that protect the environment and promote sustainable development in Kosovo.
